The Communication Strategy of the Project aims at integration of the to-be developed optimisation model for degraded peatland re-use and management, ecosystem services assessment tools and knowledge into land se policy and regulatory frameworks. This will include a carefully designed outreach and dissemination strategy on the relevance of climate change mitigation targeted actions in peatland management to policy makers and their mandates. Communication Strategy is developed improve the knowledge base on peatland ecosystem services, their values in Latvia, their role in climate change mitigation, and to stimulate the integration of this knowledge in planning and decision making for sustainable peatland management.
